So, that's a lock for Best Picture.

Tom Erdman said...: I saw inception. I think I see them all. To me, it was too contrived and manipulative.

Winter's Bone, nothing even close to that for me. Great, great, great movie.; 12:30 AM
Beth said...: I saw "Winter's Bone," too, and really liked it. I mean, it broke my heart, but I really liked it.

But the intricacy of "Inception" left me breathless. I can't imagine what it took to write that script.

Time will tell which way the Academy votes. The pendulum seems to swing between reward the big spectacle films and the indie darlings.; 7:11 AM
