Day 2 ...

I'm too tired to write tonight, but the take-home event from today was my visit to a couple gyms, at one of which I signed up for a week pass to give it a whirl, and I have my first meeting with a trainer tomorrow morning.

Excellent! Good luck, and I hope it works well for you.

When I was going to the gym with a vengeance, I got myself sessions with a trainer and it worked well. First, the obvious plus to it, which is that they know how to do the exercises and weight training and such efficiently and with a minimum chance for it causing you harm or issues.

The second plus was that I found myself far more likely to go, because of the personal and financial obligation I found myself in. You spend money on that sort of thing, especially as much as it costs, and you're going to go and not let it be wasted. :)

Hope you enjoy it enough to stick with it, regardless.

I am truly hoping you reach your goal. I think you can do it. Heck, my Number Two Best Friend put on some weight this summer, and she has already lost it without really trying. If she can do it, surely you can.
