The Ultimate Bushism ...

Watching the news tonight, I went slack-jawed when the anchor reported that Bush, in New Orleans for the anniversary of the Katrina disaster, said the federal government would do a better job next time.

Hey, George: How about making sure there's not a next time?!

Typical liberal. You want republicans to prevent hurricanes? You need to watch the Spike Lee Requiem, the real blame lies with Blanco and Nagin.

Yes, we liberals are confounding that way. We expect, during one of the greatest - and predicted - natural disasters in the nation's history, that our president won't be strumming a guitar and the secretary of state won't be shopping for shoes.
My GOD, we're unreasonable.

It's the state's responsibility for the welfare of the state. It's in the constitution. You know that nasty piece of paper you liberals despise.
